Challenge
Capability for Change came to us with a clear ambition. They wanted to help individuals and organisations build the mindset and skills needed to navigate change with confidence. To do that, they needed a digital platform that could bring their approach to life in a way that felt practical, accessible, and genuinely useful in real situations.
Traditional training methods were not enough. People often needed support in the moment, not in a scheduled session, and leaders had no easy way to embed learning into everyday work. The challenge was to create a platform that delivered high quality content while also helping users find the right tools at the right time.
They already had an early version of the platform, built by a previous developer. It had helped prove the idea, but it was built using low code tools and tightly connected workflows that made it hard to adapt or improve. As more people started using it, the cracks began to show. Performance slowed, new features were difficult to introduce, and the system could not support the level of personalisation or real time interaction they were aiming for.
There were also cost concerns. The reliance on low code tooling meant ongoing fees increased as usage grew, making the platform expensive to run and difficult to scale sustainably. A key part of our role was to rebuild the platform on a more flexible and robust foundation, reducing costs while creating something that could evolve with their vision.

Solution
We partnered closely with Capability for Change to design and build ChangeabilityPro®, a digital platform that brings their methodology into everyday practice. The aim was to create something that felt simple and intuitive, while still grounded in the depth of their work across neuroscience, behavioural science, and positive psychology.
At the core of the platform is a structured library of practical tools. Capability for Change developed a wide range of short, focused resources including neurohacks, templates, checklists, and guided exercises. These are designed to support people through real situations, rather than abstract learning, making it easier to apply new thinking in the moment it is needed.
We built a fully custom content management system to house and organise this material, giving their team complete control over how content is created, updated, and delivered. This ensures the platform can continue to evolve as their approach develops, without relying on rigid structures or third party limitations.
A key part of the experience is the AI coach. Instead of searching through content manually, users can describe what they are dealing with in their own words. The platform then recommends the most relevant tools and learning based on their situation, helping them quickly find support that feels tailored and useful.
Alongside this, we introduced features that support ongoing engagement, including personalised recommendations and progress tracking. The platform is designed to fit into day to day work, making it just as useful for individuals as it is for leaders and teams embedding change across an organisation.
From a technical perspective, we rebuilt the platform from the ground up to be fast, reliable, and scalable. This allows Capability for Change to grow their user base, introduce new features, and expand their content without the limitations or costs of the previous system.
Outcome
The result is a platform that supports organisations in building real, lasting change capability. Users feel more confident in how they approach change, communicate more clearly, and respond to uncertainty in a more considered way. Leaders now have practical tools they can use in conversations and decision making, while individuals have access to simple guidance that helps them reflect, adapt, and build resilience over time.
The platform is both robust and flexible, giving Capability for Change a strong foundation to grow. It delivers a consistent experience across users while still allowing content and recommendations to feel relevant to each individual. As new ideas, tools, and learning materials are developed, they can be introduced easily without disrupting the overall experience.
For Capability for Change, this has opened up new ways to scale their work beyond traditional delivery. They are now able to support more people, more consistently, without losing the depth and quality of their approach. For us at Koroutine, it is a strong example of how thoughtful design and the right technology can come together to create something genuinely useful for people navigating complex change.
